High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Harrison Barnes (vs GS – $5,700): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. Barnes’ value is largely tied to his scoring, which is worrying, but he always seems to play well against the Warriors. He’s averaging 33.2 fantasy points in two games against the Warriors this season. It’s almost like he believes he should be on the team over Kevin Durant. When did Durant win 73 games in the regular season? Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a proven matchup and a good ceiling.

Cedi Osman (at LAL – $4,500): Needs 19 fantasy points. The good news is that Cedi had 35.4 fantasy points against the Lakers on Nov. 21. So this is a matchup he’s delivered against already this season. And the minutes are typically there for him, which also helps. But his production is all over the place. The matchup is a good one and the salary won’t hurt you too much. It’s a pretty weak night at SF as well. Diagnosis: Good ceiling but inconsistent.

Gerald Green (at ORL – $4,300): Needs 18.2 fantasy points. Green was down to 15.4 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 11. The Rockets role players are always hit and miss. One of them steps up and has a big game, it’s just a matter of finding which one. All of them are at a good salary and none of them lack for opportunities. I’m feeling Green in this one, but you can always look at House or Rivers. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and never lacks for opportunities.
