High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Elfrid Payton (at LAC – $5,900): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. Payton was up to 30.75 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 12. He’s not quite back into form, but he’s playing well overall and remains at a decent enough salary. When he’s back up over 30 minutes then he’ll be in for a big game. The matchup is a good one and this should be an offensive affair given the current state of both defenses. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Shabazz Napier (vs BOS – $4,600): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. Napier has been providing the Nets with solid minutes and production as of late, going over 25 fantasy points in his last four games. I don’t know what to make of the Celitics right now but I know they are having some issues. Meanwhile, the Nets continue to play well. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Tony Parker (at SA – $3,400): Needs 15.9 fantasy points. If Parker is going to turn back the clock, this would obviously be the game. Can he do it? I don’t know. But I feel like I should mention him just because I’m a sucker for a good revenge game. Though I’m not sure Parker sees this as a revenge. If anything, the Spurs might make his life miserable. Diagnosis: Could hit in a big way or give you next to nothing. But the storyline has me interested.
