High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs MEM – $12,400): Needs 57.6 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting from Harden. It’s a back-to-back and Harden going 1-17 from three on Sunday might mean he’s running out of gas. But he’s still scoring and doing everything on the offensive end. I’m not doubting Harden until he collapses on the court. Diagnosis: You can always build around Harden with confidence. Though there might be some red flags coming into this game.

Jrue Holiday (at LAC – $8,000): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting from Holiday. He’s going to get you value at the very least and he has a good ceiling as the minutes are always there and he’s the top perimeter option on the Pelicans. He had 71 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 3, which should give you confidence heading into Monday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lou Williams (vs NO – $6,700): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. Williams has been down a bit in his recent games, but I love this matchup for him given the state pf the Pelicans defense, especially on the road. The scoring numbers are typically there, but his assist numbers have ticked down. Expect his offense to bounce back to form in this game. Diagnosis: A bit inconsistent at the moment but a high ceiling and I love the matchup.
