DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 14, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Al-Farouq Aminu (at SAC – $5,000): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. Aminu had 29 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Sunday. He posted 31 fantasy points against the Kings on Jan. 1. The pace of the Kings favors the game of Aminu and he’s been a fairly reliable option as of late. I don’t have many concerns when it comes to his game on Monday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
JaMychal Green (at HOU – $4,800): Needs 22 fantasy points. Green had been over 34 fantasy points in his last two games and was up to 41.25 fantasy points against the Heat on Jan. 12. He had 32.5 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 31. With Kyle Anderson out of the lineup, Green will be tasked with stepping up and I expect him to do so. The Rockets could have tired legs on the back-to-back as well. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Royce O’Neale (vs DET – $4,700): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Royce has made the most of his newfound starting opportunity, going over 32 fantasy points in his last two games. He does a bit of everything and if he continues to start, I expect him to continue down this path because I do like his game overall. And it’s a good matchup. Diagnosis: Hot, good salary, and a good ceiling.
