Players costing over $6,250

Anthony Davis (at LAC – $11,600): Needs 54.6 fantasy points. Davis had 53.5 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 12. You typically know wha you’re going to get from Davis. Even his rough nights are still good enough to hit value. He’s been good against the Clippers this season, going over 59 fantasy points in both games. You can always count on Davis to at least get you value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling.

Blake Griffin (at UTA – $9,400): Needs 44.2 fantasy points. Blake had 70 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 12. It’s like they hung his jersey from the rafters and then traded him six months later or something. The matchup is tougher on Monday but Griffin has proven to have a high ceiling all season. However, he’s also proven to be inconsistent. He did had 59.5 fantasy points against the Jazz on Jan. 5, which gives me some confidence. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs CHA – $8,200): Needs 38.6 fantasy points. Aldridge had 34.75 fantasy points against the Thunder on Jan. 12. He’s been all over the place the season, but I do love this matchup for him as the Hornets can’t stop anyone, especially opposing frontcourt players. Expect Aldridge to have another strong outing. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
