High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Elfrid Payton (at LAC – $6,200): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. Payton was yp to 32.6 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 12. He’s not quite in the form he was prior to the injury but he’s starting to look better and his minutes are going up. The Clippers aren’t great and the Pelicans offense runs well, even if they don’t play any defense. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Derrick White (vs CHA – $5,900): Needs 25 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting from White. He’s typically always around value and he has a much higher ceiling. Once again, you can pair him with Forbes and feel pretty confident in what you’re getting from both men. I love his overall game and the Hornets are a great matchup because they just aren’t very good. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Shabazz Napier (vs BOS – $5,000): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. You’re probably wondering about Tony Parker. He’ll probably get a chance against his former team, but he hasn’t been good recently and Napier is simply the better value play. Of course, watch Parker turn back the hands of times and drop a 20-10 double-double. You know what, take Parker. Also, if Kyrie is out, obviously Terry Rozier becomes a must play. Forget about Napier, even if his minutes and opportunities are much more guaranteed. Diagnosis: Are you paying attention?
