High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Danilo Gallinari (vs NO – $7,300): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting from Gallinari. He plays a reliable game and he has a good ceiling. Especially against this matchup and a defense as poor as the Pelicans. And the Pelicans are on the road, where they are even worse. This should be a pretty easy game for Gallinari to at least hit value. Diagnosis: Very reliable and a good ceiling.

Joe Ingles (vs DET – $6,300): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. It’s rough at small forward with two players under the salary limit. I still like Ingles’ game overall with Rubio out of the lineup, but his numbers can be all over the place. The matchup is a good one and the salary isn’t too bad. He’ll get you something, even if he falls a tad short. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Nikola Mirotic (at LAC – $6,100): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Mirotic is back in the lineup but not getting his typical minutes coming off the injury. He’s proven to have a high ceiling this season, but we haven’t seen it since he’s been sidelined for a month. He did have 34.4 fantasy points against the Clippers on Oct. 23. The minutes aren’t quite there, which is why he’s a risk. Diagnosis: A risk due to lack of minutes coming off the injury.
