FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 14, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Nicolas Batum (at SA – $5,500): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Batum was up to 38.3 fantasy points against the Kings on Jan. 12. Aside from a poor outing against the Blazers, a matchup he typically dominates, he has been solid over the last week or so. He does a bit of everything when he’s on his game but you never know quite what you’re going to get from him. Diagnosis: Good ceiling, but very inconsistent.
Royce O’Neale (vs DET – $4,900): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. O’Neale has joined the starting lineup and he’s been over 30 fantasy points in both of his starts. As long as he’s going to continue to start, I’ll continue to trust him. Especially against a team like the Pistons. He’s been making an impact with his scoring and rebounding and chipping in with defense. Diagnosis: High ceiling and seemingly reliable.
Evan Turner (at SAC – $4,500): Needs 19 fantasy points. Turner looks to be back in the form he had earlier in the season where he was reliable DFS option off the bench. He gets the minutes to produce, does a bit of everything and has a low enough salary to where he won’t totally hurt you. The matchup is a good one and I’ll continue to trust Turner given his recent production. Diagnosis: Reliable.
