High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick Favors (vs DET – $6,200): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. Favors was down to 25.6 fantasy points against the Bulls on Jan. 12. I’m not too concerned as this is a good matchup for him given the Pistons frontcourt. Favors should see his typical minutes and I trust him to deliver given the opponent. Expect a solid bounce back performance from him in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Marcus Morris (at BKN – $5,100): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. Morris has been over 28 fantasy points in his last three games. I don’t know what to make of the Celtics right now. But I know Morris plays a fairly reliable game because he’s going to battle on every possession and doesn’t expect things to come easy. And this is a good matchup for him. Diagnosis: Good ceiling, but I can’t figure out the Celtics.

JaMychal Green (at HOU – $4,900): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Green has been over 32 fantasy points in his last two games. With Kyle Anderson out, more players on Memphis will have to step up and Green has proven that he can step up in this situation. He had 32.2 fantasy points in 20 minutes against the Rockets on Dec. 31 and 22.7 fantasy points against them on Dec. 15. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a big opportunity with Anderson out.
