29. Tyrod Taylor

Taylor started the first two games this past season for the Browns, before a concussion in Week 3 opened the door for Baker Mayfield. He’ll hit free agency on that idle low, so teams will have to refer back to his time with the Buffalo Bills to get a better picture of who Taylor is as a quarterback.

Over three seasons (2015-2017) as the Bills’ No. 1 quarterback (44 games-43 starts), Taylor completed 62.6 percent of his passes while averaging 7.2 yards per attempt. He has limitations as a passer, but he adds notable production with his legs along with a 1.3 percent interception rate (16 in 1,236 attempts) over his time with Buffalo.

Barring the additions of Joe Flacco and/or Jameis Winston, this year’s class of free agent quarterbacks does not look particularly good or deep. So Taylor should have little trouble finding somewhere he can at least compete for a starting job, with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins coming to mind as potential landing spots.
