High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

JJ Redick (vs MIN – $5,600): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. Redick is shooting hot, which should be good for his value heading into this one. The Timberwolves defense is still rough and Redick looks to be the player he was last season, which means he’s reliable with a good ceiling depending on how hot he is from the field. His shooting woes were never going to last 82 games. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Kelly Oubre Jr (at IND – $5,200): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Oubre was up to 52.25 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Jan. 12. He’s been very good for the Suns when he gets the minutes, and even with Booker back in the lineup, I trust that the minutes will continue to be there for him. I love his game and this is a game where his energy will be needed because the Pacers are a tough matchup. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but I need to see slightly more consistency.

Dwyane Wade (at MIL – $4,900): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting from Wade, especially as he hangs out around this salary. He’s a reliable option and when he decides to turn back the clock, look out. If Richardson is out, it will mean more opportunities for Wade. And I trust him to deliver when given more opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
