High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Thaddeus Young (vs PHO – $5,800): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. Young continues to be a reliable option, especially if the game is close. But even in blowouts, he’s at a good enough salary to where he should continue to deliver, especially if Myles Turner remains sidelined. I think the Suns will keep things close as they are scrappy. Diagnosis: Very reliable and a good ceiling.

DeAndre’ Bembry (vs OKC – $4,500): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. Part of Bembry’s value will depend on the status of John Collins. If Collins doesn’t play, Bembry will get more opportunities. The minutes will be there either way. And he does a bit of everything when he’s on his game. OKC is prone to letdown games so I’ll trust him to be the guy who hurts them. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Andre Iguodala (at DEN – $3,900): Needs 17.8 fantasy points. This is going one of two ways for Iguodala. Either the Warriors play their five best players in a tough matchup or the Nuggets force them to play bigger with Jokic and Plumlee. If Iguodala plays more, he’ll contribute in a big way. But it’s possible that the Nuggets don’t allow them to go small by going extra big. Diagnosis: Reliable at this salary and could hit big depending on how the game plays out.
