FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 15, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Russell Westbrook (at ATL – $12,000): Needs 51 fantasy points. Westbrook was down to 48.5 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 12. He only played 33 minutes in a semi-blowout. This one could be a blowout as well, which would obviously limit the minutes and potential production of Westbrook. But I’m not in love with the point guard selection on Tuesday and you know Westbrook is going to get you numbers, even if he falls a tad short of value. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but a blowout could limit him.
Steph Curry (at DEN – $10,000): Needs 42.5 fantasy points. There’s no reason to doubt Curry right now. He’s delivering in blowouts and delivering even more in competitive games. This game should be competitive and I trust Curry to put up big numbers. The Warriors are starting to find their swagger and that’s a scary thing for the rest of the league. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Eric Bledsoe (vs MIA – $7,500): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. Bledsoe has been over 49 fantasy points in his last two games. His minutes are down, but Miami should keep this game competitive. And if Giannis doesn’t play, Bledsoe will get more opportunities. He’s been inconsistent this season but he should make it happen in this game. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but a high ceiling.
