High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Jimmy Butler (vs MIN – $8,200): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. Here we go. I haven’t loved Butler’s production in Philly because he’s been all over the place. And on most nights, Simmons or Embiid have been the better option. But this is the game for him to go nuts. He knows it, his teammates know it and the Sixers know it. If there’s one game I’m confident in in Butler going off, this would be the game. Diagnosis: Take him with full confidence. This will be the Jimmy Butler shows.

Khris Middleton (vs MIA – $7,400): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. Middleton has been consistent in recent games. No Giannis raises his ceiling as it makes him the first option, but with or without Giannis he should be at value in this one. He does a bit of everything and I expect his scoring to tick up in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Zach LaVine (at LAL – $6,800): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. LaVine had 37.1 fantasy points against the Jazz on Jan. 12. He’s been a tad inconsistent after his hot start, but I love this matchup for him. The Lakers aren’t good without LeBron and the Bulls just aren’t good. But LaVine should do enough with his scoring to at least get you value. It is a bit worrying that his value is tied to his scoring though. Diagnosis: A gut feeling backed by his ability to score in bunches and this matchup.
