High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (at DEN – $10,300): Needs 43.5 fantasy points. Durant was up to 50.9 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Jan. 13. You typically know what you’re getting from Durant. He’s fairly reliable because his scoring is always there and he has a high ceiling when he decides he’s going to take less of a backseat to Steph. This feels like it’ll be a big game for him given the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Paul George (at ATL – $9,700): Needs 41 fantasy points. George had 41.2 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 12. He’s cooled off a bit as of late, but I’m not too concerned about him, especially against this matchup. I’m more concerned with this being a blowout and George not quite doing enough. But the Thunder sometimes come out slow in these games, which could help the Hawks stay in it. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Justise Winslow (at MIL – $6,800): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. Winslow has been very good for the Heat in the last two games, going over 35 fantasy points in both contests. If Josh Richardson is out, that opens up the game even more for Winslow. It also opens the door for Dwyane Wade, who you may want to look at as a value option. With or without Richardson, Winslow should deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
