High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Domantas Sabonis (vs PHO – $7,900): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. A quick note on John Collins. If he plays, he’s proven to be a reliable player. The ankle injury might slow him down a bit, so that is concerning but I will trust him to at least get value. As for Sabonis, he continues to deliver in the starting lineup. Keep taking him with confidence if Turner remains sidelined. If Turner plays, then Sabonis because just reliable and his ceiling lowers. But the matchup is good either way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling as long at Turner is out.

Draymond Green (at DEN – $7,400): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. Green continues to be all over the place and wasn’t good against the Nuggets early in the season, finishing with just 16 fantasy points on Oct. 21. The minutes and opportunities are always there for him and he typically finds a way to step up in these tough matchups. But I have no real read on Green this season and you’d be taking him at your own risk. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but a good ceiling.

Kyle Kuzma (vs CHI – $7,300): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. Kuzma was back up to 41.8 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 13. He’s been up-and-down since returning from injury, but I’m not concerned about him given this matchup. Someone has to score for the Lakers and he’s by far the best option. And he should get plenty of points to go along with rebounds and a handful assists in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling. Love this matchup for him.
