High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Vucevic (at DET – $8,900): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. Vucevic had 43.75 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 13. He’s been down a bit in recent games and his salary has risen. I like this matchup for him because I just don’t think the Pistons are doing much good right now. And Drummond disappears far too often. If nothing else, Vucevic will get you at least value in this game. But expect more from him given the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Rudy Gobert (at LAC – $8,500): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. Gobert has been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games. If Ingles is out, it should mean more opportunities for Gobert. He’s gobbling up rebounds and he’ll always chip in with points due to the Jazz offense getting him involved. The matchup is a good one given how the Clippers are struggling against frontcourt players right now. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Julius Randle (at GS – $7,500): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. Randle has been over 40 fantasy points in his last two games. He’s been good more often than not for the Pelicans in the starting lineup and now he gets the Warriors on a back-to-back. I still don’t like much when it comes to the Warriors frontcourt and the duo of Randle and Davis should give them a lot of issues. I love this matchup for him. Diagnosis: I expect him to deliver in a big way. If you don’t want to spend on Davis, spend on Randle.
