High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Steph Curry (vs NO – $10,100): Needs 47.1 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting with Steph. It doesn’t matter that it’s a back-to-back. When the Warriors want to end teams, they are going to end teams. Maybe there is a letdown and the Pelicans have been playing well but no matter what, you can count on Steph to deliver a huge game. The Pelicans defense just doesn’t have an answer for him. No one does. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling.

Jrue Holiday (at GS – $8,200): Needs 38.2 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting from Holiday. He’s been very reliable this season, hitting value in 73 percent of games. Even though his salary is climbing, it’s not high enough compared to what he continues to give you. He does a bit of everything and the Pelicans have seemingly turned things around. The matchup is tough, but there’s no reason to doubt Holiday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (at HOU – $7,300): Needs 34 fantasy points. Aside from a rough outing against the Celtics on Jan. 7, Russell has been great for the Nets since LeVert went down with injury. Russell had 55.75 fantasy points against the Celtics on Jan. 14. The Rockets are good, but their defense still has holes and the Nets are just as good at the moment. Russell should get buckets and then some. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
