Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick White (at DAL – $6,100): Needs 26 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting with White. His salary has jumped up there, but it’s not quite high enough given his usual production. He does a bit of everything and the matchup is good enough on Wednesday. As always, you can pair him with Forbes and feel confident that you are at least getting value out of your point guard spots. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Collin Sexton (at POR – $4,900): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. The minutes continue to be there for him and he’s playing well right now, going over 27 fantasy points in his last two games. It’s a mess at point guard with all the injuries and questionable players. Sexton will play and get minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

D.J. Augustin (at DET – $4,600): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. Augustin has been up-and-down in recent games, but this is a matchup he just has success against. In two games against the Pistons this season he’s averaging 37.8 fantasy points. I don’t trust the Pistons at all right now and the Magic seem to have figured something out. And again, this is just a matchup that Augustin seems to deliver against. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.
