Players costing $6,667 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at MEM – $6,200): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. Brogdon was down to 21.4 fantasy points against the Heat but only played 23 minutes so I’m not that concerned. He’s been too reliable this season and it was a blowout. That’s always the fear with the Bucks right now as they are rolling on teams but maybe they lack a little energy on the back-to-back. I’m going to trust Brogdon to have a bounce-back performance. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Alec Burks (at POR – $5,500): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. Burks has been great for the Cavaliers since the trade and was up to 41.6 fantasy points against the Lakers on Jan. 13. He does a bit of everything and even though the matchup is tough on Wednesday, I’m going to trust that Burks can keep it going. He’s certainly more reliable than Jordan Clarkson. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Terrence Ross (at DET – $5,300): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Ross continues to shoot well and had 27.8 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 13. I love what he’s doing right now, although I do worry that his shot will go cold and he doesn’t do enough in other areas to make up the difference. But the Pistons are not good and I’ll trust that Ross can continue to keep up his scoring. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
