High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Joe Harris (at HOU – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Harris had 27.1 fantasy points against the Celtics on Jan. 14. He’s been up-and-down in his last five games. He was up against the Celtics, so if the trend continues he will be down against the Rockets. I’m going to trust that he will break the trend in this game given the matchup. He had 26.4 fantasy points against the Rockets on Nov. 2 if you’re looking for a confidence boost in him. Diagnosis:

DeMarre Carroll (at HOU – $4,800): Needs 20.2 fantasy points. Carroll had a very poor shooting night against the Celtics but still managed 31.8 fantasy points against them. That’s a good sign for his value that he was able to still contribute despite the poor shooting. You can pair Harris and Carroll at this position and feel pretty good about the small forward position. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Evan Turner (vs CLE – $4,500): Needs 19 fantasy points. Turner has looked solid in recent contests and his minutes have gone up. The matchup is a good one on Wednesday as the Cavaliers, despite a good game against the Lakers, are still the Cavaliers. Turner does a bit of everything on most nights and won’t entirely kill you if he decides to revert to Evan Turner form. Diagnosis: He’s Evan Turner. He’s always a slight risk, but he’s doing well right now.
