High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Anthony Davis (at GS – $13,700): Needs 59.8 fantasy points. Davis had 82.2 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 14. He’s been over 80 fantasy points in two of his last three games. He doesn’t cost quite as much as Harden, but he’s also not quite as reliable. That said, his ceiling is just as high. And with the Warriors on a back-to-back and their issues in the frontcourt, this feels like another huge game for Davis. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling.

Montrezl Harrell (vs UTA – $7,900): Needs 34.5 fantasy points. Harrell is back to being a monster. Production is never an issue when minutes are there. But it’s a chicken and egg situation. Harrell has been over 40 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He should get plenty of minutes against the Jazz given their frontcourt. I’m not a fan of the Clippers right now, but I like what Harrell is doing. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Aaron Gordon (at DET – $7,500): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. Gordon has been over 40 fantasy points in his last two games. And he’s been over 40 fantasy points in two games against the Pistons this season. Conclusion; Gordon will be over 40 fantasy points against the Pistons on Wednesday. I still don’t trust him all that much, but he’s playing well and this is a matchup he’s done well against. And it’s not like there is a lot to like about the Pistons. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.
