3 moves the Indianapolis Colts must make this offseason
By Dylan Broady
1. Find another running back
This one might come as a surprise. The Colts have Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins. When Mack was down with an injury, the Colts struggled to find a reliable running game with the two rookies. Hines proved he was more of a pass-catching back than a downfield bruiser. Wilkins didn’t impress much when given the opportunities to showcase his abilities.
Le’Veon Bell has been rumored and tweeted that he is interested in coming to Indy. We don’t know if the Colts are interested in paying such a high price tag for a running back that has durability concerns, though. They are better off finding a diamond in the rough in this upcoming draft. Ballard has stated that he would rather grow from within and save back the cap space for a deserving player down the road, rather than pay big money for a high-priced free agent.

The Colts could always use a bruiser on those tough third downs or goal line situations. It could never hurt to be prepared for another Mack injury. We all know how talented he is and can be. The question for 2019 is, can Mack sustain that same level of success in a 16-game season? Only time will tell what is in store for this young Colts team. All signs point to more success in the coming years.
If they can bolster their defense, and find more playmakers on offense, the sky is the limit for Indianapolis. They proved they can be dangerous and go on a long winning streak. A couple more athletes wouldn’t hurt along the way.
