Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs LAL – $5,700): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Schroder has been over 35 fantasy points in his last two games. He seems to have re-found his game after a rough stretch where he wasn’t doing anything. And the Lakers will present him with an opportunity to keep it going as they have not been good without LeBron. Expect Schroder to keep up the scoring in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Darren Collison (vs PHI – $5,400): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. Collison has been over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s been a bit all over the place this season but he’s playing well right now and this should be a competitive affair which means minutes won’t be an issue for him. He had 27 fantasy points against the Sixers on Dec. 14. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Malik Beasley (vs CHI – $4,900): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Beasley continues to simply play a reliable game for the Nuggets. You typically know what you’re getting from him and there’s a chance he produces over value, especially on Thursday, given the matchup. I’m going to trust him in this game to have one of his bigger outings. If nothing else, he’s going to get you value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
