High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Victor Oladipo (vs PHI – $7,600): Needs 35.4 fantasy points. Oladipo hasn’t quite been himself lately as he’s been under 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Blowouts have limited his minutes and his teammates have picked up the slack but he’s also not scoring like we know he’s capable of doing. But this is a game where he will shine. It’s a tough matchup and Oladipo will find his rhythm in this one. Diagnosis: Love this matchup and I trust him to deliver.

Zach LaVine (at DEN – $6,500): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. I don’t exactly love LaVine and he hasn’t given me much reason to love him as of late. You can always spend the extra money and get Jimmy Butler who is more reliable. But LaVine could end up being more cost-effective if he can put it all together again. The Nuggets defense has struggled and maybe they are down after the Warriors game. Diagnosis: A risk but a high reward. Spend on Butler if you want more reliable numbers.

Brandon Ingram (at OKC – $6,300): Needs 29.3 fantasy points. Ingram has been over 33 fantasy points in his last two games. And he had 39.75 fantasy points against the Thunder on Jan. 2, although Kuzma barely played in that game, leading to more opportunities for Ingram. The Thunder defense has been rough and I’ll continue to trust Ingram to at least get value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
