High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (at TOR – $5,200): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Oubre continues to play well for the Suns. He had 29.75 fantasy points against the Pacers on Jan. 15. I love his energy and he does a bit of everything on most nights. And with the Raptors on a back-to-back, Oubre’s energy can really hurt them. There isn’t much to like about the Suns but Oubre has been a bright spot since they’ve given him more minutes. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Marvin Williams (vs SAC – $4,800): Needs 22 fantasy points. Williams was solid for the Hornets on their recent road trip. He had 29.5 fantasy points against the Kings on Jan. 12. As mentioned in previous slides, I expect the Hornets to get a big boost from their home crowd after the west coast trip. And the Kings are a good match to come back to, given their style. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Chandler Hutchison (at DEN – $3,700): Needs 16.9 fantasy points. If you’re looking for a reliable punt option, Hutchison is your guy. He could even see increased opportunities with WCJ out of the lineup. Minutes aren’t an issue for him right now and he’s at such a low salary that it’s pretty easy for him to hit value. Diagnosis: A reliable punt option who could see more opportunities due to injuries.
