FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 17, 2019
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Darren Collison (vs PHI – $5,800): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. Collison has been great recently, going over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s found his shot and chips in with rebounds and assists. The matchup is a good one as this should be a relatively high scoring affair. The assists will be there for him in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable.
De’Anthony Melton (at TOR – $5,500): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. With Booker back in the lineup Melton’s minutes and opportunities are down. But he’s still starting and there’s some hope that he’ll continue to run the offense. The scoring numbers aren’t there but he’s doing well with his passing. The Raptors are good in back-to-back games but it’s still a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable.
TJ McConnell (at IND – $4,600): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. McConnell has been up-and-down in recent games. He was up to 27.4 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 15. The minutes are there and he does a little bit of everything. Value point guard is pretty rough and McConnell makes for a low-cost option who will give up something and has a decent ceiling. Diagnosis: Decent ceiling and gets minutes as a value player.
