High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Victor Oladipo (vs PHI – $8,000): Needs 34.2 fantasy points. Oladipo has not been good recently. He’s cracked 30 fantasy points just once in his last five games. And he had just 30.8 fantasy points in that game. The minutes have been down in blowouts so that could be the reasoning behind his lesser performances. This one should be competitive and if it is, Oladipo will step up in a big way. Diagnosis: Trust this game to be close and for Oladipo to do his part in carrying the Pacers.

Devin Booker (at TOR – $7,700): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. Booker returned from injury and had just 17.5 fantasy points against the Pacers. I’m going to trust that his minutes will be up in this one and the Raptors are coming off a tough game against the Celtics so maybe they have tired legs. Injuries have thrown off his rhythm which is the bad news. You can spend extra on Jimmy Butler if you want as he’s more reliable. But Booker can always explode. Diagnosis: Inconsistent due to injuries but a high ceiling.

Zach LaVine (at DEN – $6,700): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LaVine had 23.8 fantasy points against the Lakers on Jan. 15. I’m sort of over LaVine at this point. The opportunities continue to be there for him but he’s just not producing much. The ceiling is still high but this is a tough matchup. Again, I hope you’re paying attention because I’m telling you that Jimmy Butler is more reliable at the higher price. But if you’re looking for a risk, LaVine is a good one. Diagnosis: Medium risk and a high reward.
