High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kawhi Leonard (vs PHO – $10,500): Needs 44.2 fantasy points. It’s possible that Kawhi doesn’t play in this game because the Raptors like to hold him out in back-to-back games. But there sounds like there’s some optimism regarding his status for this game. Check his status before making any decisions. If he plays, he’ll get you value and probably a little bit more given the matchup. And if he doesn’t play, find other Raptors to fill out your team given the matchup and how good they’ve played without Kawhi.Diagnosis:

Paul George (vs LAL – $10,400): Needs 43.8 fantasy points. George had 50.1 fantasy points against the Hawks on Jan. 15. You typically know what you’re getting from George. He’s very reliable and has a high ceiling. His salary has jumped back up, which is the only bad news for this one. But he had 55.8 fantasy points against the Lakers on Jan. 2 and I expect a big performance from the Thunder following the Hawks game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Brandon Ingram (at OKC – $7,300): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. Ingram has maybe settled into his role? I wouldn’t put too much stock into the Bulls and Cavaliers games because they are the Bulls and Cavaliers. But the Thunder defense hasn’t looked much better and Ingram had 36.7 fantasy points against them on Jan. 2. So I’ll trust him to at least hit value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
