High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Thaddeus Young (vs PHI – $6,300): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. I absolutely love the value at power forward on Thursday. I’m only going to mention three players in bold but pay attention because I’ll drop some info on other players. You can always trust in Young to play a reliable game. Minutes are not an issue and he does a bit of everything. You can save $100 and go with Jerami Grant who is playing great right now and has a great matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Marvin Bagley III (at CHA – $6,100): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. MB3’s minutes have been up and it’s led to better production. His salary has jumped up which makes him slightly less desirable but I like this matchup for him and he’s still waiting to explode with a bigger game. You can save money and go with Bobby Portis, who should see more minutes with the injury to WCJ or Richaun Holmes, who has been very reliable for most of this season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Marvin Williams (vs SAC – $5,500): Needs 24 fantasy points. Williams had 33.6 fantasy points against the Kings on Jan. 12. He’s been playing well for the Hornets and once again, I like the matchup and expect the Hornets to get a boost at home. This should be an up-and-down affair with Williams doing his part to chip in. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
