3. Fraser, Anderson score as Bournemouth and West Ham draw 2-2

One of the more interesting Saturday matchups sees West Ham travel to the south coast to play Bournemouth. The Hammers will fancy their chances of getting all three points after their impressive display against Arsenal last weekend.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, are in a bit of a rut having only won one of their last six matches — a 2-0 win over Brighton just before Christmas. However, the good news for Cherries fans is that their team aren’t playing badly, just not quite getting the luck they need.

Last weekend Bournemouth controlled the first half away at Everton but just couldn’t find the net. Eddie Howe’s team play eye-catching soccer but they need to progress when it comes to finishing. If this Bournemouth side were more clinical then they’d certainly be higher up the table.

There’s a very good chance of goals in this fixture with each of West Ham’s last three visits to the Vitality Stadium providing four or more. This fixture finished 3-3 last year with Callum Wilson scoring a 93rd-minute equalizer to salvage a point for Bournemouth.

Hopefully there’s more of the same this weekend as both of these sides have proven that they have the ability to play attractive soccer. Both sides also have some great players in their squads that can change a game.

Ryan Fraser and David Brooks have been sensational so far this season for Bournemouth while Felipe Anderson looks like a better signing every week. Anderson’s attacking play is brilliant but the defensive display he gave last week against Arsenal was equally as important.

Bournemouth like to move the ball fast which means that Anderson will once again have to be switched on and provide the necessary cover to his full-back. This is a terribly difficult match to call which is why a draw seems likely.

Fraser and Anderson will both find the net for their sides in the first half with both teams registering again the second. They’ll both push for a winner but this one will finish 2-2.
