Players costing over $6,250

Steph Curry (at LAC – $10,000): Needs 46.7 fantasy points. Get ready to read a lot about the Warriors. They are locked in and that’s a scary thing right now. And no one is more locked in on the Warriors than Curry. I have no doubt about his game right now as he’s scoring the ball with ease and doing enough in other categories to boost his value. But it’s really his 3-point shooting giving him great value right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling. Take and build around Curry with all the confidence.

Kyrie Irving (vs MEM – $9,000): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. Kyrie knew he had to deliver after calling out his teammates and he delivered. He had 63.75 fantasy points against the Raptors on Jan. 16. The scoring numbers are rarely an issue for him and he’s made a real effort to boost his assists this season. The Grizzlies are a mess and maybe the Celtics found something after some in-fighting. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jrue Holiday (at POR – $8,000): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting from Holiday. He’s been very good during this stretch and was up to 49 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 16. And now he gets the Blazers, a team he roasted in the playoffs last season. Much like Kyrie and Steph, I have no doubt about Holiday’s game. He’ll deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
