Players costing $6,250 or under

Josh Richardson (at DET – $5,900): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. Richardson was down to 16.75 fantasy points against the Bucks on Jan. 15. It’s a bit concerning but this is a matchup that he has thrived against. And the Pistons are not good. Richardson had 48 fantasy points against the Pistons on Nov. 5 and is averaging 37.2 fantasy points against them in his last five games. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.

Terrence Ross (vs BKN – $5,400): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. Ross continues to shoot hot for the Magic and was up to 34.5 fantasy points against the Pistons on Jan. 16. His value is still tied to his scoring but until I see him go a bit cold, I’m going to trust him to keep scoring. The matchup is a good one as this should be an offensive affair. Diagnosis: Red hot and a good ceiling.

Joe Harris (at ORL – $4,900): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. Russell and Dinwiddie are going to get the headlines but Harris plays a reliable game while the other two are very streaky. Minutes are not an issue for Harris, he always gets shots and he can chip in with rebounds and assists. Once again, this should be an offensive showdown. You can pair Ross and Harris, watch them duel, and reap the rewards. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
