DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 18, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Kevin Durant (at LAC – $10,100): Needs 46.3 fantasy points. Durant had 63.25 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 16. Of all the Warriors, I’m most worried about Durant’s game with the debut of Cousins. It was obvious in the offseason that Steph and Klay like Cousins better so don’t be shocked if they just freeze Durant out of the offense. Just kidding. Durant will turn in a solid outing but may fall just short of value. Still, there’s a guaranteed 40 fantasy points here. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable but I don’t love his ceiling with Cousins in the lineup.
Tobias Harris (vs GS – $7,100): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. Harris continues to play a reliable game. And he’s been good against the Warriors this season. He had 48.75 fantasy points against them on Dec. 23. Points and rebounds are rarely an issue for him and he’ll chip in with assists and maybe a defensive play or two. The Warriors will get a big boost with Cousins but Harris will do his part for the Clippers. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Justise Winslow (at DET – $6,800): Needs 31.4 fantasy points. I’m loving Winslow’s game right now. He had 36.75 fantasy points against the Bucks on Jan. 15 and that was a blowout for the Bucks. The Heat should be more competitive in this one as the Pistons are not good. Winslow has been reliable since becoming the point forward and does a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Love him on Friday. He’ll deliver in a big way.
