DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 18, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jayson Tatum (vs MEM – $6,200): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. Tatum had 35 fantasy points against the Raptors on Jan. 16. He’s one guy I don’t worry about when it comes to Kyrie calling out his teammates. He’s going to get his scoring and rebounding numbers while chipping in with defense. He had 34 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Dec. 29. If nothing else, he’s going to get you value. But expect a bit more in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Al-Farouq Aminu (vs NO – $5,300): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. Aminu continues to be a reliable option at an affordable price. Minutes are never an issue and he does a bit of everything. His game is really highlighted against the Pelicans due to their frontcourt presence. He had 34 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 1. He’ll deliver once again in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Jae Crowder (vs CLE – $4,700): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Crowder had 39 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 16. He’s been inconsistent this season but the minutes are typically there. His value has been a bit tied to his scoring as of late, which is concerning. But buckets shouldn’t be an issue in this one. He had 28.75 fantasy points in 24 minutes against Cleveland on Jan. 4. Diagnosis: Reliable in this matchup with a good ceiling.
