Players costing over $6,667

Jrue Holiday (at POR – $8,800): Needs 37.8 fantasy points. I love Holiday on Friday. He’s always a reliable option and this is a matchup he has a proven history against. If nothing else, he’s going to get you value in this game. But expect him to be over value given the matchup. He’ll do a bit of everything and is at a solid enough salary. Look for a strong scoring night to go along with his usual rebounds, assists and defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (at LAC – $7,200): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. Klay had 31.9 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 16. His salary is down as the Cousins factor does loom a bit but I’m not too worried about his production in this game. He’ll continue to get shots and his looks could be even better with Cousins in the lineup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Lou Williams (vs GS – $6,800): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. This is the matchup for Lou. He was up to 41.2 fantasy points against the Jazz on Jan. 16 and this is just a matchup he shows up for. He’s been over 38 fantasy points in his last four games against the Warriors. They need his scoring and playmaking in this game and he’s proven that he can deliver. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.
