High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Terrence Ross (vs BKN – $5,400): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Ross was up to 32.9 fantasy points against the Pistons on Jan. 16. He’s been over 27 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s shooting hot and there is concern that he cools off at some point but this is a good matchup for him as offense should not be a problem for either team. Diagnosis: Red hot and a good ceiling.

Alec Burks (at UTA – $5,000): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Burks was down to 12.6 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 16. He had been good for the Cavaliers prior to that game and had 25.6 fantasy points against the Jazz on Jan. 4. Chalk up the game against the Blazers to an off night and expect him to bounce back in this one. Diagnosis: Trust him to bounce back since there is still a little revenge game factor in this one.

Dwyane Wade (at DET – $5,000): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Wade was down to 16.6 fantasy points against the Bucks on Jan. 15. It was a blowout for the Bucks and Wade’s minutes were down. But now he gets the Pistons, who just aren’t very good. Expect many in Miami to bounce back in this game, especially Wade. He’s been fairly reliable throughout this season and remains at a good salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
