Players costing $6,250 or under

Ivica Zubac (at HOU – $4,300): Needs 20.5 fantasy points. It’ll be Zubac or McGee who will produce for the Lakers in this one. With the Rockets lacking size, they can be taken advantage of in the paint. I like Zubac more because he’s coming off the bench and just might be a better player overall than McGee. But one of them will do damage in this matchup. Diagnosis: High ceiling and great matchup.

Zaza Pachulia (vs SAC – $3,300): Needs 15.7 fantasy points. With Drummond down, Zaza will pick up those minutes. He had 20.25 fantasy points against the Heat on Friday. This is all about the circumstances and Zaza is at a good salary considering it’s a back-to-back and doesn’t have time to be adjusted. He’s going to get minutes and he can pick up rebounds while chipping in with points and a defensive play or two. Diagnosis: Good circumstances to help provide great value.

Khem Birch (vs MIL – $3,200): Needs 15 fantasy points. This is all about the circumstances. If Gordon doesn’t play, Birch could see extra run. He’s handled himself nicely when given extra minutes this season and could not only see extra minutes with Gordon out but could see extra minutes with the Magic on a back-to-back. He’s not going to hurt you all that much at this salary and could pay off in a big way if Gordon doesn’t play. Basically, take whomever is starting for the Magic at the PF position because there will be very good value. Diagnosis: Could hit big depending on circumstances.
