High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at ORL – $5,700): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Brogdon has been down in his last couple of games and the Bucks are blowing out everyone, but as mentioned in the previous slide, I think this game will be competitive. And if this game is competitive, he should be back up to his usual numbers. His salary has dipped which certainly helps your case. If nothing else, he’s not going to hurt your team and guaranteed points are never a bad thing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling, especially if this isn’t a blowout.

Evan Fournier (vs MIL – $5,400): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. Fournier continues to play well for the Magic and was up to 38 fantasy points against the Nets on Friday. It’s a back-to-back for the Magic and the Bucks are the Bucks, but I’m going to trust the Magic to remain scrappy and make this game competitive. If you’re not as confident in Orlando, you may want to stay away from this game. Diagnosis: A tad inconsistent but hot and a high ceiling.

Kevin Huerter (vs BOS – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Huerter has been good for the Hawks since moving to the starting lineup and if they are missing players, he should get even more opportunities in this one. Pay attention because injuries could lead to a lot of Atlanta players being called upon to step up. Look at a guy like Jeremy Lin in this spot as well. Both could provide excellent value depending on the injury report. Huerter is just guaranteed to play no matter who is available. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
