DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 19, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Terrence Ross (vs MIL – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Ross went a little cold against the Nets, finishing with just 24 fantasy points. But I’m not too concerned. The minutes and opportunities are still there for him. And he’ll need to have a strong game against the Bucks if this game is going to remain competitive. I’m going to trust Ross in this game although I acknowledge that there are some red flags. Diagnosis: A good ceiling but be wary that he’s now cold after Friday.
P.J. Tucker (vs LAL – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Tucker had 42.5 fantasy points against the Nets on Jan. 16. With Capela out of the lineup, someone has to pick up rebounds. And Tucker is going to be that guy. Plus you know he’ll continue to get shots and chip in with defense. This is a good matchup and even better circumstances due to the injuries to seemingly everyone on the Rockets. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Reggie Bullock (vs SAC – $4,600): Needs 21 fantasy points. I don’t love a lot about the Pistons but I do love this game due to the Kings style and I do love the way Bullock has been playing. It’s a back-to-back for the Pistons, but I’m not too concerned about it as they are at home and Kings just lend themselves to DFS points. Bullock has been very reliable as of late and he’s flashed a good ceiling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling and matchup.
