Players costing over $6,250

Blake Griffin (vs SAC – $9,000): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. Blake had 61.75 fantasy points against the Heat on Friday. It’s unknown as of this writing whether or not Drummond will play in this game. If he does, that lessens Blake’s ceiling a bit. But if he doesn’t, take advantage of this salary and play Blake with all the confidence in the world. He’s going to have a monster game if Drummond isn’t in the lineup given his talent and the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling depending on the status of Drummond.

Kawhi Leonard (vs MEM – $9,200): Needs 41.9 fantasy points. Kawhi will be back in the lineup in this one and you know what you’re going to get from him. He’s been reliable all season and the Grizzlies are on a back-to-back. Kawhi will pick up his usual points while chipping in with assists and rebounds in this one. Plus, you know he’s good for a handful of defensive plays. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jayson Tatum (at ATL – $6,300): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. Tatum struggled against the Grizzlies but don’t worry too much. He’ll back up in this game. It’s the Hawks. The pace will be fast and the points will be plenty. Tatum will pick up his scoring and chip in with rebounds in this one as the Hawks take, and miss, a lot of shots. There is a slight blowout concern but I’m not fully sold on the Celtics just yet. Diagnosis: A tad inconsistent but a high ceiling and great matchup.
