High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Vucevic (vs MIL – $9,300): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. Vucevic had 48.4 fantasy points against the Nets on Friday. He’s been playing well all season for the Magic and numbers are rarely an issue for him. And if Aaron Gordon doesn’t end up playing, that’s even better news for Vucevic’s value in this game. It’s a tough matchup, but Vucevic has proven himself to be reliable and the circumstances could be in his favor. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling if Gordon doesn’t play.

Willie Cauley-Stein (at DET – $7,700): Needs 34.4 fantasy points. WCS could enter this matchup with a good set of circumstances as Drummond might not end up playing. And if Drummond doesn’t play, assuming Zaza doesn’t injure him, WCS will have some extra freedom in the paint for points and reboundings. He’s been fairly reliable throughout this season as well. Diagnosis: Circumstances could help is ceiling but otherwise he’s reliable.

Myles Turner (vs DAL – $7,200): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. Turner has looked solid in his two games since truanting to the lineup. He was up to 40.4 fantasy points against the Sixers on Jan. 17. He was very good against the Mavericks last season, averaging 42.2 fantasy points. Granted, the Mavericks didn’t have DeAndre Jordan, but there’s a theory that the Mavericks don’t have DeAndre Jordan this season. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
