Players costing over $6,250

Kemba Walker (at IND – $8,100): Needs 37.9 fantasy points. Kemba had 38.5 fantasy points against the Suns on Saturday. It’s a back-to-back for both teams so weird things are probably going to happen. He’s been fairly reliable over the last week or so and had 38.5 fantasy points in 27 minutes against the Pacers on Nov. 21. I trust Kemba to at least get value in this one and his ceiling is high. But the matchup isn’t great with the Pacers defense. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Victor Oladipo (vs CHA – $7,800): Needs 36.3 fantasy points. Oladipo had 37 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Saturday. It’s just not there for Oladipo right now. His scoring is off but he is trying his best to make up the value in other areas. The matchup is a good one as the Hornets given up a lot of points and Oladipo should do enough to at least hit value. And maybe the lid finally comes off the basket for him. Diagnosis: Cold but at least reliable and a high ceiling if shots starts falling.

Jeff Teague (vs PHO – $6,300): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. Teague hasn’t been great in the last couple of games and his minutes are a bit all over the place. But the matchup is good with the Suns being on a back-to-back and the Suns being the Suns. It might be a little too good and Teague probably won’t have to dominate as Rose and Towns will probably do most of the damage against Phoenix. He’ll get some numbers, but I’m not in love with him. Diagnosis: An option.
