Players costing $6,250 or under

Derrick White (vs LAC – $5,600): Needs 26 fantasy points. White bounced back from a poor performance against the Mavericks with 27 fantasy points against the Timberwolves. As always, White is a reliable option who has shown a good ceiling. This is game where he should have no problem at least getting value. He’s proven himself to be reliable and the Clippers are reeling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Darren Collison (vs CHA – $5,100): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. Collison bounced back with 33.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Saturday. With Oladipo struggling, Collison has done a nice job picking up the slack. That should continue in this game given the matchup. I love the way Collison is playing right now and trust him to keep scoring while chipping in in other areas. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at SA – $4,700): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. SAG was up to 40.25 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 18. The injury to Lou Williams, who ended up being a late scratch, was a big difference for him. If Williams is going to be out again, then SAG should be reliable at this salary. If Williams ends up playing then I don’t trust him quite as much. Diagnosis: Take if Williams is out. He’s a risk if Williams plays.
