High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRozan (vs LAC – $8,400): Needs 38.4 fantasy points. DeRozan is listed as probable for this game so I’m going to assume that he plays. Obviously, check his status before making any decision. He hasn’t been great recently and that does concern me. We know the ceiling is high and I do like this matchup for him but with the injury and his recent play, there are some red flags in this game. Diagnosis: High ceiling but I’m hesitant on him. Which means he’ll probably have a huge game.

Tobias Harris (at SA – $6,700): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. Harris continues to provide reliable numbers as he had 41.75 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 18. With Williams possibly out and Gallinari definitely out, Harris will have to do the heavy lifting in this one. The matchup isn’t great but Harris is at a good salary given how good he’s been this season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling due to the circumstances.

Thaddeus Young (vs CHA – $6,100): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. Young is under the salary line but with injuries there’s a lack of depth when it comes to high salary guys. Young was down to 22.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Saturday. I’m not too concerned because of how good he’s been throughout this season. Young should have a bounce back performance in this game given how rough the Hornets defense typically is. Diagnosis: Trust him to bounce back with a strong outing and at least give you value.
