High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rudy Gay (vs LAC – $5,500): Needs 25 fantasy points. If by chance DeRozan doesn’t play, Gay’s ceiling is going to be raised. He was up to 36 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 18 and he’s typically reliable given his scoring and rebounding ability. The matchup is a good one as well with the Clippers just free falling. Diagnosis: Reliable. And if DeRozan doesn’t end up playing, that’s even better for his overall value.

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs CHA – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Bojan was down to 18.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks and now might be the time to start worrying. He did had 31.25 fantasy points against the Hornets on Nov. 21 if you’re looking for some confidence in him. And the minutes and opportunities will be there for him. But he’s certainly cold right now and that’s worrying. Also look towards Josh Jackson in this spot due to the injuries to the Suns. But his minutes aren’t guaranteed, just theorized due to injuries. Diagnosis: Matchup is good and he has a high ceiling. Again, you can also look at Josh Jackson.

Marvin Williams (at IND – $5,000): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Marvin had 24.5 fantasy points against the Suns on Saturday. He’s been shooting well for the Hornets for the majority of the season and he’s chipping in with rebounds. The minutes and shots will continue to be there for him in this game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
