Aldridge
SAN ANTONIO, TX – MARCH 21: LaMarcus Aldridge /

High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs LAC – $8,500): Needs 39.8 fantasy points. Aldridge had 44.25 fantasy points against the Wolves on Jan. 18. He’s been up-and-down in his last seven games. He was up against Minnesota so if the trend holds, he’ll be down in this one. He is averaging 1.28 FPPM in three games against the Clippers this season, which is the good news. And if DeRozan is out, that’s even better news for Aldridge because it means more shots for him. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but a good ceiling and if DeRozan doesn’t play, you can take him with confidence.

Montrezl Harrell (at SA – $6,900): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. Harrell was down to 22.25 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 18. But if Gallinari doesn’t play, he’s likely to see more minutes as the Clippers will use him and Harris more often in the frontcourt. He’s been good when he’s gotten minutes against the Spurs this season. And he should get minutes in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Domantas Sabonis (vs CHA – $6,500): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. Sabonis had 33.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Saturday. Even in limited minutes, you typically know what you’re going to get from Sabonis. He’s typically good for a double-double with his scoring and rebounding. And he has a high ceiling in both of those categories. He wasn’t great against the Hornets earlier this year which is about the only concern with Sabonis. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
