High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

TJ Warren (at MIN – $5,800): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Warren had 25.25 fantasy points against the Hornets on Saturday. His value is still almost exclusively tied to his scoring. The opportunities will continue to be there for him because the Suns need buckets and he can get buckets. And they’ll need even more buckets in this game if Ayton is sidelined. If nothing else, he should be good enough to get you value in this game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable.

Taj Gibson (vs PHO – $4,900): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. Gibson was up to 37.25 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 18. His minutes aren’t always there so there isn’t much reliability when it comes to his game. But he does have a high ceiling and the matchup is a good one. He’s averaging 34.1 fantasy points in his last four games against the Suns if you’re looking for a little confidence in him. Diagnosis: A good ceiling but not exactly reliable.

Davis Bertans (vs LAC – $4,200): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. While Gibson might have the higher ceiling, Bertans has proven himself to be the more reliable option. The lesser salary certainly helps his cause. He’s typically good for scoring and rebounding off the bench. And if he gets hot from behind the line, that’s even better for his value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
