Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs LAC – $8,600): Needs 37.5 fantasy points. Aldridge was up to 43.8 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 18. He’s been up-and-down in his last few games. So if the trend continues, he’ll be down in this game. I think he’ll break the trend because the Clippers are not good and Aldridge should see more opportunities with DeRozan out of the lineup. If DeRozan plays, his ceiling is lowered. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but take with confidence if DeRozan doesn’t play.

Tobias Harris (at SA – $8,000): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. Harris has been reliable throughout the season and has been reliable throughout this month for the Clippers. He hasn’t flashed a high ceiling in a while, but if Lou and Gallinari are both out for the Clippers, Harris will have to do more with his scoring. I like him more than Harrell although Harrell may have the higher ceiling. So if you want to take a slightly bigger risk, spend the extra $200 on Harrell. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Domantas Sabonis (vs CHA – $7,100): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. Sabonis had 30.2 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Saturday. With the Pacers frontcourt healthy his minutes are down a bit but he always makes the most of his minutes with rebounds and points. The matchup is a good one as the Hornets don’t offer much resistance. Sabonis should be good enough to at least get you value in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
