Players costing over $6,250

Steph Curry (at LAL – $9,400): Needs 43.8 fantasy points. There is very little doubt about Curry’s game right now. He’s going to get you at least value and with the way he shoots, his salary is always much higher. This feels like a game where the Warriors are going to try and run the Lakers out of the building given how Christmas went and how the Warriors are feeling it right now. Even in a blowout, Curry will get value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyrie Irving (vs MIA – $9,000): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. Kyrie continues to deliver for the Celtics and he’ll need another big game in this one. His assist numbers were down against the Hawks but he’ll bounce back in this one and his scoring numbers are not an issue for him. The Heat can grind things out, which is when you need a guy like Kyrie to create offense out of nothing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Damian Lillard (at UTA – $8,300): Needs 38.9 fantasy points. Lillard has been solid for the Blazers, going over 40 fantasy points in his last five games. However, this is a tough match for him as he’s been under 38 fantasy points in both games against the Jazz this season. And despite being reliable, Lillard hasn’t delivered those big games you would hope. He’ll get number and end up around value. And obviously the potential is there. Diagnosis: Reliable.
